Club Members Spruce Up Landscape at Youthnet

Mount Vernon Rotary Club has been a long-time supporter of Youthnet, a local non-profit which coaches youth in the foster care system in independant living skills.

ImageSeveral Mount Vernon Rotary Club members serve on Youthnet's board of directors. Like any non-profit, it is difficult to keep all the plates spinning, so the MV Club volunteered to do the initial clean up last fall, and with mulch this spring to fend off the typical weed invaders of spring. The project had the added side celebration of fulfilling Terica's requirements to get the official 'Blue Badge.'
