Art Palmer STEM Scholarship
The new Art Palmer STEM Scholarship was established to honor Mount Vernon Rotarian Art Palmer for his service to his club, community, and country. Art Palmer is a US Army Veteran, who, on his 50th mission as WWII pilot was shot down over Germany in June of 1944. He and fellow crew members were captured by German troops and held as a POW until the war ended. In honor of Art’s service to our country and his commitment to Rotary, this new STEM Scholarship was funded in the fall of 2019.
